DecoLux Detail – Mobile Valeting & Detailing Services

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) outline the agreement between DecoLux Detail (“we,” “us,” or “our”) and the customer (“you” or “your”) when booking our mobile valeting and detailing services. By booking with us, you agree to the following terms:
1. Services
We provide mobile car valeting and detailing services at your chosen location, as agreed upon at the time of booking.
Service descriptions on our website or marketing materials are guidelines; the exact scope may vary depending on the condition of the vehicle.
We reserve the right to refuse service if the vehicle’s condition exceeds what was booked (e.g., excessive dirt, pet hair, or biohazards) and may suggest an alternative package at additional cost.
2. Bookings & Cancellations
All bookings must be made in advance via phone, email, or online.
A deposit may be required to secure your booking; this will be confirmed at the time of scheduling.
Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed appointments, will incur a £20 cancellation fee or loss of deposit.
3. Access & Requirements
You must provide safe and legal access to the vehicle at the agreed location.
Access to water or electricity is not required, as we are fully mobile. If that changes for any reason, it will always be discussed and agreed with you prior to arrival.
The vehicle must be unlocked for interior services.
4. Payments
Prices are listed “from” and may vary depending on vehicle size, condition, or location.
Full payment is due upon completion of the service, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We accept [list payment methods: cash, bank transfer, card, etc.].
5. Liability
We take the utmost care when working on your vehicle. However, we are not liable for:
Pre-existing damage, defects, or wear and tear.
Personal items left in the vehicle.
Delays or cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., severe weather, traffic, breakdowns).
Any concerns about the service must be raised within 24 hours of completion.
6. Warranty & Results
Detailing results will vary depending on the condition of the vehicle.
Protective treatments (e.g., wax, coatings) have an expected lifespan but may degrade faster depending on how the vehicle is maintained.
We do not guarantee permanent removal of defects such as deep scratches, stains, or heavy etching.
7. Health & Safety
We reserve the right to refuse service if working conditions are unsafe, unsanitary, or unsuitable for our equipment.
Hazardous materials (e.g., excessive mould, bodily fluids) may incur additional charges or refusal of service.
8. Bad Weather Policy
As a mobile service, some jobs may be affected by severe or unsafe weather conditions (e.g., heavy rain, storms, snow, extreme heat).
If weather prevents us from completing the service, we will reschedule your booking at no extra cost.
We will contact you as early as possible to make alternative arrangements.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by UK law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
